Ski tour to the Tamischbachturm
Located outside the Johnsbach Valley, but definitely worth the trip when conditions are favourable.
The Tamischbachturm Mountain is not the most frequented ski touring peak amongst the Johnsbach mountains. NOT YET. It is still an insider tip for powder snow and firn aficionados. Perhaps the reason for this exclusive quality is the challenging ascent. The way to the summit passes the Ennstalerhütte hut and can be challenging and tiring. It will be worth your efforts, however, rewarding you not only with a stunning panoramic view, but also many highlights as you ski down, featuring real treats for skiing enthusiasts.

The Kölblwirt insider TIP
The Tamischbachturm is a splendid ski tour where you will most definitely never meet the masses. Yet we recommend you start early. Ascent and decent are faced south and warm up significantly during the day whenever the sun shines. If you adhere to your schedule and the conditions are favourable, however, you may look forward to a marvellous skiing experience down a great terrain. TIP: Talk to us. We have a few insider tips for you. You can also ascend on another route, towards the Hochscheiben-Alm. But caution, this one has a considerable addiction risk.
